De-stress with L&S – University of California, Berkeley

Thank you so much to the University of California, Berkeley L&S Advising department L&S Advising department for having us at DESTRESS WITH L&S! Here The College of Letters and Sciences Advising department came out to showcase what they could offer students of UC Berkeley during their rigorous training and studying schedule. A photobooth was perfect to EMPOWER and bring out the true mission of the department’s involvement with students. Their mission is to:

• Encourage intellectual curiosity, and stimulate academic and career exploration,

• Promote the benefits and value of a liberal arts education,

• Foster student development and success, and

• Promote timely progress towards graduation.

I’m so glad we were able to be a part of helping keep the students ready to go and focused on their progress.

The Set-up

We provided our awesome studio photobooth as well as a social media sharing station where people could share to Facebook, Instagram and other social media sites. Here you can instantly send your GIFs or pictures as texts and emails so you can easily upload them on social media. The L&S Advising department at Berkeley even had their OWN social media station where they were having people add their Instagram and spin a wheel for a chance to be chosen for a raffle for an Amazon Dot! So cool!

With a custom step-and-repeat backdrop, the students really felt the dope vibes and got into every picture with bright smiles. They loved the custom photo booth props (especially the llama) made by our prop expert, Amber the Propmaster. We can’t WAIT to use them again either! We took a ton of extra photos ‘testing our photobooth’ 😉
